Poems to Keep You Company
Poems to keep you company was designed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea is to use poetry to reach out to members of society who may be vulnerable, even further isolated as a result of health restrictions and in need of human warmth and company. I asked poets to donate a poem (or several) along with a biography talking about themselves with a photo that would work as an introduction to themselves to connect with people who need it.
The Newsletters are collected below and are free to download and print off. I recommend, heck I even request you forward these on to your loved ones and those who may be isolated in your communities to let them know they are not alone.
If you want to submit a poem or a recipe or a story or just a letter to someone who is lonely I would REALLY love that. Please drop me an email with your poem (14pt bold Arial for legibility purposes) to firstname.lastname@example.org along with a photo and a bio and you will be included in the next one*
*for the avoidance of any doubt anything submitted that includes racism, sexism, homophobia, classism or any form of derogatory speech or punching down will be rejected and deleted
